Playful Performative Mapping

We began with mindful body exercises and continued with interactive group games designed to deepen our understanding of our connection to the city. In the end, participants took a group walk and collaboratively created pieces to interact with the city, performing them for each other.
This workshop was part of the Malmö Community Biennial, alongside dozens of other cultural and artistic programs aimed at enriching Malmö's cultural scene. Drawing from my experiences with site-specific performances, I tried to create a platform for participants to explore and reflect on their relationship with the city. Open to the public, the workshop encouraged participants to distance themselves from their everyday urban life and uncover its performative aspects.
