Ms. M

Ms. M was a documentary cyber-performance based on the story of an Iranian woman who went missing in Sweden in 1996. The project, produced by Detachment Group during the pandemic, provided the opportunity to collaborate with international performers from four countries. Iran, Sweden, Belgium, and Turkey were chosen because the story of Ms. M unfolded across these locations, and the performers collectively reconstructed her dispersed body across the cities in a collaborative process. The project was presented at the Reconnect Festival 2021, an international festival dedicated to online performances.
