Micro Theatre
Final Attachment
Final Attachment brings together documents, memories, testimonies, witness accounts, nightmares, and dreams to narrate a love story that has never fit within 500 words.
Having spent countless hours helping the Swedish Migration Agency conduct a “very close examination” of their own lives, the performers now invite the audience to conduct a very close examination of a police officer’s life. This interactive micro-theatre performance portrays a dislocated life struggling to survive bureaucratic violence and state surveillance, turning the public into accomplices in the pursuit of justice.
This project emerged from a digital collaboration between Iranian artists across Sweden, Iran, Canada, and Germany, following a residency at Teater Konträr. It was produced by Malmö Theatre Academy and Teater Konträr and presented at their venues in Stockholm and Malmö in spring 202
