Alternative Theatre for Young Makers

Maryam Hashempour led a series of theatre-making courses for young participants aged 13 to 18 at Unga Klara Theatre in Stockholm. Focusing on participatory approaches, the courses encouraged participants to think through performance-making and explore non-conventional forms of theatrical expression. At the end of the programme, the young makers collaboratively developed and presented pieces using movement, writing, site-specific exercises, scores, and installations.
