The Ants

The Ants was an experimental theatre written and directed by Mohammad Karambeigi and was performed at the 23rd Iran International Universities Theater Festival. The piece centers on the personal lives of four laborers in an unfinished building, where they remain despite having no intention to leave, due to the temporary residencies they have held in various locations. Ants also explores the actor’s embodiment and investigates themes of identity and freedom.
