The Ants

The Ants is an experimental play by Mohammad Karambeigi, presented at the 23rd Iran International Universities Theatre Festival. The play centres on the private lives of four workers living in the construction site they work in. Marked by a life of constant relocation and temporary settlement, they remain attached to places they can never truly own. Through these men's stories, the project explores questions of identity, freedom, and belonging, while investigating the actor’s embodiment as a site where these tensions are performed and negotiated.
