The Ants

The Ants was an experimental theater written and directed by Mohammad Karambeigi, which was formed around the private lives of four poor labors working in an under construction building .Based on the need to represent the suffocating conditions which these labors lived in, it was necessary to create a special atmosphere. That's why we decided to use digital live sound recordings instead of the actors natural voices. The actors voices were weak and the ambience of the scene, which was magnified by hidden microphones on the stage, was very loud. In away, with using the technological advancements of sound, we created a form of live music.
